This four year Bachelors Degree program has being specially designed for the sake of the doctors working at the Rural settings in selected dioceses of the country.The program is executed at the University of Papua New Guinea, School of Medicine and Health Sciences.Rural Medicine is a competency based program where aspects of all four disciplines in Medicine and the clinical disciplines form the curriculum in theory and practical training.The successful completion of this program gives our doctors a wider range of options in taking up responsibilities in Clinical Public Health and managerial challenges  in the Rural Health facility where he or she is assigned to.
